Protrusions

Polytopia will be installed in the Protrusions exhibition that will show the work of four textile artists:

Magda Wojtyra

Lynn Kelly

Robyn Thomas

Ying Yueh-Chuang

I have made a site specific installation with my 3D quilt project, Polytopia.
The images on this page show the components being hung up.

Stop by to say hello at the event on Friday, or drop by any time to see the piece that is hung right in the red lounge to the left of the front door.

World of Threads Festival 2012

The World of Threads Festival is an international showcase of contemporary fibre art and in 2012 will exhibit the work of nearly 200 artists from 12 countries and 8 Canadian provinces.

Diverse wall and sculptural pieces and installations in a wide variety of fibre media will be exhibited in 11 exhibitions in Oakville and 10 shows  in Toronto.

The Festival website has information about every exhibition, lists of exhibiting artists, and Events Calendars to plan your visit. Please note that the Toronto shows open a week after the Oakville shows. All exhibition dates, times and openings vary, and some shows remain open longer, closing after the official close of the Festival.
