Here are some detail photos of the textile fringe for the Forza bravery medal, as it was being assembled in the studio. The textiles are mostly vinyl mill end rolls or otherwise post industry, end of line, left over after manufacture, etc. The fabrics include uphostery vinyl lederette, rip-stop luggage nylon, roller blinds, and silver foil wallpaper. These strips of fabric were then sewn to cardboard and clipped under the medal.

The sculpture was being prepared to be part of the Braveland installation in the exhibition Eutopia, opening at the Textile Museum of Canada on February 24, 2016.
